Trailhead at Lutz Lake Fern Road (southern terminus of trail)
 

From Saint Petersburg Fl

1. Take the I-275 N ramp to        Tampa - go 7.8 mi

2. Take the SR-60 W exit 39B to (SR-589-TOLL N)/Veterans Exwy/Tampa Int'l - go 2.0 mi

3. Bear right at SR-589 N and head toward Air Cargo - go 13 mi

 
4. Take the Dale Mabry Exit (End of Veterans Expy)

5. Turn left on Dale Mabry Highway (CR 597) north to Lutz Lake Fern Road.

6. Make a left at Lutz lake Fern (heading west) and continue for approximately 3 miles until you pass under the Suncoast Parkway. Trailhead is on the right

From Tampa, take Dale Mabry Highway (CR 597) north to Lutz Lake Fern Road. Take a left (heading west) and continue for approximately 3 miles until you pass under the Suncoast Parkway. Trailhead is on the right.
